Sunday...Sunday...

Yes, it's that day of the week again! Here in Indiana, we've had freezing cold...then springlike weather...then freezing rain and last night we got snow. Mother Nature sure has seen fit to throw it all our way.

As I've been working on projects around the house today, the darned seed catalogs keep calling my name and reminding me that it won't be long...no matter what the groundhog said. Like that furry thing can really predict the arrival of spring any more than the weatherman is ever spot on with what's coming our way.

I've actually been quite busy this morning...I made another batch of anti-aging beef tallow face cream...there is candle wax melting down in the pot...I've gotten Yule all set up for pre-order (yes...you can pre-order it on Amazon now) and am going to label things for our next market. which isn't until April 20th in Scottsburg, Indiana but that gives us plenty of time to get our stock gathered.

Got woke up well before the rooster started crowing this morning, thanks to a very dramatic and spoiled coonhound. Kate started her nudging at about 2:30 am and then her verbal complaints around 2:35. Luckily, I managed to out argue her, and she laid back down until a little after six which is her usual breakfast time. She's quite the queen around here for sure...but I refuse to get up at 2:30 am to feed her.

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day. I had a dinner date with my youngest daughter, and we went to Cracker Barrel where I feasted on their Friday fish fry and treated myself to a pretty blouse to wear to book signings or other events. Some of their clothes are really cute and I've bought several home decor items from there in the past.

Patience is not a virtue for me. Not when it comes to getting the shed that I ordered two weeks ago delivered. I am in major need of decluttering so that I can get started on some redecorating. I found the most awesome color scheme for my kitchen; I've had the floor tiles for quite a while and will grab the paint as soon as I get the cabinets all cleaned out and rearranged/organized. I even found a runner on the TikTok shop; that will work with the color scheme.

Okay, I'm starting to ramble, and I keep getting distracted by the Lifetime movie on the television...so, I'm going to sign off for now. Have a great week and be sure to stay tuned for my author spotlight later this week!
